Pee-Wee Karate Grading

PeeWee Karate Grading
Pee-Wee Students have the opportunity to grade once a term but they do not follow a belt colour system.
Children are awarded merit badges and a certificate for techniques such as kicks, stretching, punching and blocks. They can also earn badges for showing good respect, etiquette and discipline. The children have the opportunity to grade once a term and this is a chance for parents to come along and see their children progress during the term.
This is fun and very exciting for the children as it’s an opportunity to show off what they have learnt. Parents will receive an invitation and reminder of the grading in our Pee-Wee Karate Newsletters. All Pee-Wee gradings take place during the last week of term in the student’s final class of the term.
The ultimate aim of karate lies not in victory nor defeat, but in the perfection of the character of its participants." - Gichin Funakoshi
